What’s in a gin?
If your first thought is pine trees, you’re not alone.
“I don’t like gin” is something we hear all the time, and usually what people really mean is they don’t like an overwhelmingly piney, bitter gin.
That’s not what we wanted to make.
Josie’s Garden Gin is a botanical basket built around the flavors and landscape of Browns Park. Lavender brings a soft floral note. Orange and lemon add brightness and citrus. And then there’s the botanical that really makes Josie’s ours: sagebrush.
It’s bright, herbal and unmistakably Western.
The result is a gin that tastes like the place that inspired it. Juniper, lavender, citrus and sage come together to create something that feels a whole lot more like wandering through Josie Bassett’s garden in Browns Park than chewing on a pine tree.
So, what’s in a gin?
In ours, a little bit of Browns Park.
