Back home from The Texas challenge and our hearts are so full✨🤍

This competition was extra special to us because even though our studio had OUTSTANDING placements, the most beautiful part of the weekend wasn’t medals, it was the heart and stories behind each one of our dancers. some stepped onto the competitive dance floor for the very first time pushing through nerves, doubts and fears. Two celebrated their birthdays on the dancefloor, for others it was a strong return after recovering from injury, but for all it was a chance to rediscover their inner confidence, strength and resilience.

And that is what we love most, you can come from completely different walks of life, carrying different stories and life challenges, yet find connection, healing, friendship, and belonging through dance. watching our students and instructors rally around one another, cheering from the audience, pep talks before heats, celebration hugs afterward, the way everyone showed up not only for themselves, but for each other. It’s something we will be endlessly proud of. Fantastic job Fonzies dance city competitive team.🏆
