Dear Kodiak Family,
This is the message we never wanted to write. After 4 years of pouring our hearts, souls, and countless late nights into Kodiak, the time has come to say goodbye.....for now.
This has been a labor of love from beginning to end. It started as a family business and it will end that way. The only difference is, we expanded the borders of the family to include all of you, our Kodiak community. We have spent so many fun hours laughing and joking with all of you, and it has been a joy and a privilege.
We started this journey to create an environment that connected people. Our mission was to create a space that got people off of screens and back into their bodies to enjoy connection again, whether it was for a date night or time out with friends. It was always about the finer things: the finest, drinks, food, events, experiences, connection, and people.
We wanted it to be a vibe, an atmosphere, a community, and an experience. It was never just a bar it was community and a place that everyone got to expand their horizons, even if it was just a little bit.
We’ve fought hard to keep this dream alive, but despite our best efforts, sleepless nights, and tireless work, the challenges have become too great, at this location. While this chapter is coming to a close, what we built together—the moments, the friendships, the community—will never disappear.
To our loyal regulars, our incredible staff, and every single person who has ever walked through our doors: thank you!
Thank you for believing in us, for making this place what it was, and for giving Kodiak a soul that will live on far beyond our last call.
We will be leaving this location. We will be taking some time to regroup and rest. We will be looking for ways to make a comeback at some point in the future, in a different location.
We don’t know what the future holds, but we do know this—it isn’t the end no matter what. Life, the adventure, the experience of the finer things always continues. It’s just the beginning of that adventure, whatever that looks like in the months and years ahead.
We are celebrating all this weekend of love. Come in and join us for our normal hours Friday and Saturday 6pm -12am and raise a toast to everything we created together. We would love to see each of you to say goodbye, have a laugh, and enjoy our connection. Let’s raise one last glass, share one last story, and send Kodiak off the way it deserves.
With all the love and gratitude in the world,
The Kodiak Team (A.K.A Ryan, Liam, and Elaise)
