๐ฑ Social Media Coordinator ๐ฑ
Love social media and the LGBTQ+ community? If so, letโs talk! The Center Project is looking for a volunteer Social Media Coordinator to help our lead coordinator develop a content strategy, curate and create engaging content, maintain a calendar, and help track metrics. Can be a volunteer position or unpaid internship, about 5-10 hours/week with a 6-month commitment to start. Social media is an essential way TCP reaches and interacts with our broader community, so weโre looking for someone with social media management and/or communications experience if possible. Looking to fill this position by October 1. Great way to build your resume while making a difference in our community!
๐ฟ Concessions volunteers ๐ฟ
Weโre looking for several groups of 2-10 to help staff an important (and fun!) fundraising event! Each year, we run a concessions stand at Mizzou home football games (and some basketball) and get a cut of the sales -- it's one of our biggest sources of revenue supporting the various community programs at TCP. Concessions shifts are fast-paced but fun and easy. At least two trained leads from TCP will be at every game โvolunteers just need to show up ready to help! Jobs include filling popcorn boxes, serving sodas, making hot dogs, running the cash register, etc. No need for prior experience and we will show you exactly what to do. We follow all COVID-19 safety protocols. Ages 16 and up are welcome.
Round up a few friends and pick a date!
9/18, 10/2, 10/9, 10/16, 11/13, 11/20
๐ Development/fundraising committee ๐
Weโre officially stepping up our fundraising game, and we need your help! As part of our 3-year strategic plan, weโre working with a consultant on a fundraising strategy and timeline. If you have interest and/or background in fundraising and development โ or just love the LGBTQ+ community and want a direct way to help โ come join our new Development Committee! TCP is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3), and grassroots fundraising is how we support the entire organization. This is an important volunteer role and weโd love to have your help!
