Big news alert!!! Welcome our new Executive Chef - RJ Shover. RJ hails from Baltimore, MD and spent most of his youth hanging in the creeks and corn fields of Carroll County, MD. Although naturally beautiful and rich in Shenandoah culture, Carroll County had few opportunities for a budding culinarian. After working at a few Mom and Pop restaurants around the way, RJ made the move to the Great State of Ohio. Initially landing in Columbus in 2013 , He worked his way around C-bus building his chops at some fun spots including Watershed Kitchen, Comune, The Table and even a summer at Ray Ray’s. In the spring of 2022, Mr.Shover took a trip down interstate 71 to the Queen City to take the position as lead fermentor at Cinsoy, and after its closing, he bopped to the back of the house putting in some hours around town at some A-list spots like: the Pickled Pig, Oakley Wines, & Danny boy, all the while hosting the occasional pop up here and there under the Pseudonym Dick Cooks. Settling into Cincinnati and its food scene has been a profound pleasure for him and he is joyed to be a member of the hundreds of hard working industry folk that keep our cups bellies and hearts full.
