The Bar Manager role is responsible for lounge operations in partnership with the owner of McGee's Jukebox Lounge, Inc. Ideal candidate should have had previous supervisory experience in a food and beverage environment with a special focus on professionalism & team building.
Coordinate communication between staff to ensure common understanding and accountability
Prepare shift schedules for the team, schedules events, and sources staff as needed.
Serve as a bartender and participate in other roles as required due to staffing demands.
Ensure that inventory levels are maintained for products and goods needed to ensure acceptable operations
Monitor compliance with safety and hygiene guidelines as required by the City and State.
Obtain guest feedback and recommend improvements to services offered.
This role also assists with the interviewing, selection, and training of staff.
Basic computer/ POS System skills and competencies are required.
Assist with financial operations as assigned by the owner
Must present a neat and professional appearance
Requires professional interactions with customers, public, and co-workers
Physical requirements include bending, carrying, lifting 25 lbs, standing, sitting, walking
A flexible schedule is required, which includes weekends and holidays
Bassett certification is required
Willingness to serve other duties as assigned or necessary based upon business operations.
