JOIN US THURSDAY 5/28 for an extended Open Level Práctilonga! New to tango? Never been to a social dance (ie. a Milonga)? Join Sarah and Nathan in Studio 11 this Thursday from 6:30-7:00p and learn the ins and outs of attending a tango social dance. This class is designed as beginner’s introduction to the structure and social norms of a Milonga including how to get dances, what to wear, where to sit, and one thing you should never ever do… ☝️ Plus, we will be answering all your most burning questions! Our monthly open level Práctilonga starts at 7p and is the perfect opportunity to put your new knowledge into practice. Dancers of all levels are encouraged to join us from 7:00-9:00 ($10 at the door) for a mix of tango, milonga, and vals. We can’t wait to see you on the dance floor!

BRING A FRIEND AND JOIN US FOR OUR NEXT ✨ TOTAL BEGINNER ARGENTINE TANGO SERIES: Part 1 starts this Thursday at 6:30p in Studio 11 at the McGuffey Art Center! Learn what makes Argentine Tango unique while exploring fundamental steps and figures to use when social dancing. Argentine Tango is a partner dance enjoyed all around the world. HALFWAY THROUGH THE WEEKEND and we can’t stop smiling 😊 Today’s workshops with Jael and Jesús were a great success! The lessons had something for everyone (even our newest dancers). We laughed, we smiled, and you can bet when closed on the 8. We’re so excited to share our studio and community with these talented and playful teachers . Our tango hearts grew three sizes today ❤️ Don’t miss their performance at Sunday’s Milonga “El Rosedal” (5/3). Music by DJ Ramu of DC from 1-5p. Refreshments, shoe exchange, and prize for the best interpretation of the “Rose Garden” Milonga theme. $25 at the door. Hope to see you there!
