What brings him to Stylus?
“I’ve been playing music in public since the moment I was old enough to get into a venue. In between performing in bands, I downloaded Ableton and learned how to produce beats. My first proper Jungle release was on Chao Gardem’s JUNGLE SUNDAY compilation in 2022. Since then I’ve spent a large part of my creative energy producing dance music and DJ’ing.”

What’s inspiring him right now?
“Miami Mystic” hopper1000

What’s he bringing to the lounge?
“Jungle is by far the most impactful and enduring genres of electronic music I’ve ever been exposed to. I wanted to spend some time reflecting on its history and legacy and share it with my community in Stylus.“

Blaine Hurdle, a jewellery artist, archivist, and ephemera collector, has always been drawn to the intersections of visual art and music. In 2025, Hurdle created a twelve piece jewellery collection inspired by the graphic work of Barney Bubbles, one of the UK’s most influential record designers.
