Accomplished drummer and co-founder of the non-profit organization, JazzArts Charlotte, Ocie Davis, is a dynamic force in the jazz scene.

Now based in New York, Davis is known for his deep pocket, musical sensitivity, and driving hard-bop feel. He has shared the stage with many many notable musicians, including, but not limited to, Ellis Marsalis, Terrance Blanchard, and Nicholas Payton.

As a versatile performer and collaborator, Ocie brings both tradition and fresh energy to the bandstand.

We’re honored to bring this amazing talent to our stage for One Night Only so he may share his artistry with you.
