BLACKHAWK hosts Bop Theory Jazz Jam, bringing musicians together for a night built around improvisation, collaboration and the love of live jazz. Come settle in, grab a cocktail and see where the night goes.

We’ve got another full week of live music, with a special Thursday lineup and an important Friday schedule update.

BLACKHAWK hosts Bop Theory Jazz Jam, bringing musicians together for a night built around improvisation, collaboration and the energy of live jazz. Come settle in, grab a cocktail and see where the night goes.

THURSDAY | STEPHEN GORDON PRESENTS CONTINUUM LIVE!
This Thursday, we welcome special guest Stephen Gordon for Continuum Live! Expect a fresh night of live music, great energy and something a little different from our usual Thursday programming.

And for our Dueling Pianos crowd — Uptown Dueling Pianos returns next Thursday, and we’ll be back to our regularly scheduled Thursday programming.

FRIDAY | POCKET ACES. Pocket Aces takes the stage Friday night for one show only. Come early, grab a drink and make a night of it.

Two shows. One night. No reason to go home early.

Thursday nights at Eighty Eights already hit different, but tonight we’re taking it past midnight.

Start the night with our Signature Experience of Dueling Pianos hosted Uptown Dueling Pianos by from 8:00PM–10:45PM.

You pick the songs, they play them, and somehow the whole room ends up singing along.

Then at 11PM, we switch gears.

Arkose takes over Eighty Eights for an After-Party Jam Sesh until 1AM. Live music, an open stage, and musicians are encouraged to bring your instruments and jump in.

FRIDAY | WILLIE WALKER & CONVERSATION PIECE
A Charlotte staple takes the Eighty Eights stage. Led by bassist and vocalist Willie Walker, this band brings a big, layered sound with jazz, soul and funk at its core. Expect horns, grooves, silky melodies and a band with more than a decade of chemistry together.
