Today, the After Dark Productions & SingleCell family stands together to honor, celebrate, and reflect on Juneteenth Freedom Day! 🖤✨
Why do we celebrate today?
Although the Emancipation Proclamation was signed in 1863, it wasn’t until June 19, 1865, that federal troops arrived in Galveston, Texas, ensuring that the last remaining enslaved Black Americans finally received word of their freedom.
we encourage everyone to use today to amplify Black voices, support Black-owned businesses, and lift up local Black performers and creators who make our nightlife and arts scene so magical.
Happy Juneteenth, everyone! Let’s keep moving forward, together. 🖤✨

Tish brings the heat to the stage as a pansexual Purgatory Hellion, keeping us captivated with every performance. But she wears many hats in our dark universe. she is also the mastermind keeping our feeds alive and thriving as Purgatory’s Social Media Specialist
