Passepied Club

Passepied Club The Passepied Club is a ballroom dance club in Charleston, West Virginia. at the University of Charleston's ballroom. We are always seeking new members.

It holds nine dances a year, always on the second Saturday of the month, September through May, from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. The Passepied Club of Charleston is a social ballroom dance club of about 100 members. We host 9 dances per year from September to May at the University of Charleston ballroom in the Geary Student Union on the second Saturday of the month from 7:30 to 10:30PM. Our music providers

range from disk jockeys to dance bands. Two dances are formal, two feature dressy casual attire and five dances are semi-formal. Snacks, wine and beer are available at a cash bar. Per University policy other beverages may not be brought to the dances. Our dances are open to members and guests of members or the club. Membership is open to singles and couples of all experience levels. Members pay annual dues of $40/person and $10/person at the door. Annual dues are pro-rated if you join after mid-year. Guests may attend individual dances as a guest of a member or the club for $20/person. The only requirement for membership is having attended a single dance as a guest and having a member recommend you. Our Story

The Passepied Club of Charleston is a social ballroom dance club of about 100 members. We host 9 dances per year from September to May at the University of Charleston ballroom in the Geary Student Union on the second Saturday of the month from 7:30 to 10:30PM. When a dance lesson is offered it will take place at 7:00pm on half hour before the dance starts. Our music providers range from disk jockeys to dance bands. One dance is formal, one is semi-formal and the rest will be dressy casual or casual. Check the dance schedule.

Snacks, wine and beer are available at a cash bar. Per University policy other beverages may not be brought to the dances. Our dances are open to members and guests of members or the club.

Members will pay $15.00/person and non members may attend for $25/person to attend the dance. The only requirement for membership is having attended a single dance and have a member recommend you.
