This weekend's Special is a Backyard BBQ Chicken Dinner. Thisbdinner is 2 chicken breasts grilled and glazed woth a homemade rhubarb BBQ sauce served with a side of handcut american fries.

This week my oldest starts Pre-school and if anyone asks I'm Fine. (I'm not. But I will be.) So I conjured up this image to show how I'm feeling this week. Can anyone else relate when they sent their kids to school for the first time? BTW the special this week is the Texarkana Burger. This burger is topped with Chipotle Cream Cheese, Bacon, Cheddar, Onion Tanglers and BBQ sauce. Very tasty.

This year for the kids scavenger hunt we are hiding little 3-D printed animals all along main street. Have your kids find one after the kiddie parade. And bring it in to someone at Table to get a coupon for a free ice cream. Kids can keep the animals too. Please just 1 per kid!

When I created Tables I thought long and hard about how much time people spend gathered around the kitchen table. We share so much of our lives there. The good and the bad. I wanted to be apart of that life experience for people. In the almost 7 years we have been open we have seen a lot of life happen. Pandemics, babies, engagements, break-ups, weddings, graduations, birthdays, celebrations of life, tornados, and now we can add fire to that ever growing list. We are so happy we can continue being here for all of our community. We will re-open this Wednesday and back to business as usual. We love having you at Tables and we look forward to serving you for many more years! Thank you for your continued support.

Announcement:
Yes it is true we experienced a small electrical fire tonight. Luckily we responded immediately, evacuated everyone and our Fire Department is the best in the area! Everyone is fine. We will start repairs ASAP. Prayers are appreciated as we start cleaning up and deal with the joys of insurance claims.
I will update everyone on when we will be open again! Thank you for all your continued support. We appreciate all our customers.

KXLG has received a news tip reporting that Tables Steakhouse in Castlewood, South Dakota, has experienced an electrical fire.
Emergency crews responded to the incident. At this time, details regarding the extent of the damage, whether anyone was injured, and the restaurant’s future operations have not been confirmed.
KXLG is working to gather more information and will share additional details as they become available.
