The secret’s out, and so are the new releases. 🤫📚

It’s Tuesday, October 13th, which means a brand new stack of literary escapes has officially dropped at The Arcane Books and Speakeasy. Whether you’re looking to lose yourself in a cozy mystery or something a little darker for spooky season, we have your next favorite read waiting behind the bookcase.

Here are a few top picks hitting our shelves today:

• ✨ Miss Wolcott’s Ghost by Louise Penny – Chief Inspector Armand Gamache returns to solve a eerie, timeless mystery that connects Lost Nation to Three Pines.

• 🥀 Rottenheart by Kat Dunn – The perfect dark gothic horror for October. Think Hamlet, but with a seductive, sapphic twist and a terrifying family secret.

• 🍂 The Tulip Poplars by Silas House – A sweeping, beautifully written historical novel about a hidden, forbidden love in the early 1900s.

• 💫 As You Wake, Break the Shell by Becky Chambers – A heartfelt, cozy sci-fi start to a brand new duology about found family and stubborn survival.

Grab a title from the front shop, whisper the password, and find a cozy couch in the back to read with one of our signature coffee cocktails. What are you adding to your TBR list first? 🥂👇
