Oasis Botanical Lounge is a coffee & tea house meets dispensary. We offer organic loose leaf hot teas by Rishi, organic French press coffee by Pure Intentions Coffee, and baked goods by Ninth Street Bakery in Durham. In addition to our wide-variety of botanical that can help with pain, sleep, anxiety, and depression. These items can range from prepared botanical beverages to prepackaged items. Joi

We are an inclusive space built upon the principles of Bob Marley's message of One Love and kindness for all. The Oasis is the place to unplug and unwind, meet up with friends and enjoy the peaceful ambiance. The Oasis is located inside the center of Carr Mill Mall between Grata Cafe and Tandem in downtown Carrboro, NC (which adjoins downtown Chapel Hill). Carr Mill shares parking lots with Harris Teeter and Weaver Street Market. DO NOT LEAVE THE PREMISSES AT ANY TIME OR UNFORTUNATELY YOU WILL BE TOWED, EVEN IF YOU HAVE PURCHASED FROM A SHOP. With its 14-foot ceilings, polished wood floors, large indoor windows and double glass doors opening into the broad hallway, it is one of the most beautiful and uplifting gathering spots in the area. In addition to tables and cushioned chairs, there is seating on pillows on the floor of a raised-platform area (shoes-optional). And yes there is plenty of free wifi and on-site parking! At night The Oasis transforms into an environment of entertainment, connections and inspiration. On occasion we will host free evening events such as kirtan music, live acoustic music, spiritual cinemas, crystal bowl and digeredoo meditations, and other uplifting entertainment. The Oasis is also available to rent for presentations, meetings, workshops, and parties.

Andromeda is looking for her FURRever home! Aka Ande aka Dingbat. This is a bittersweet post for the Oasis fam (Alicia Roskind Dearing & James). They have been fostering Ande for about 6 weeks now, and their fostering time has come to an end. They have really fallen in love with this very sweet, well-behaved, playful girl, but keeping in her is not in the cards for them. She's about 7 lbs, estimated about 1 year old, fixed, and VERY low shedding (almost no shedding at all).

Ande is sweet, joyful, intelligent, and full of life. Playtime is Ande’s favorite thing in the world. She loves playing with her string, chasing corks, and chasing you and her tail! She is very well-behaved. She doesn’t get on the counters or get into things she’s not supposed to. She likes to talk to you, and tell you what she’s feeling. She loves pets on the floor and purrs easily. She greets you excitedly when you arrive home, and does just fine for 8 hours by herself. She would do best in a home where the people or other animals enjoyed play time and is very gentle so should be good with children. She has clearly been at indoor / outdoor cat in the past, and we have been harness training her outside.
