Mark April 16th on your calendars the Country Comfort Band with John, Joey, Steve, and Donnie Jr will be playing at the Tiki Bar in Massillon. We will keep posting on the comfort page the dates that they will be playing out so keep checking the page for updates.

With a very very heavy heart, I regret to inform everybody that the county comfort is closing its doors. With the economy the way it is, the dui laws, the permit and license companies with outstretched hands 3 times bigger than they should be, and the police sitting in your parking lot all the time doesnt help things either,there's way more monies going out than coming in. For 6 out of the last 7 years I've been robbing peter to pay paul just to keep the doors open for my patrons and fans, but everybody knows you can only operate on a shoestring for so long before it breaks, and my shoestring has been frayed for many years now. Its gotten to a point now that not enough money comes in to keep the utilities paid, let alone the band, alcohol stock or contract pmt. So instead of trying to fight a losing battle to keep the doors open and risk an early age stress heart attack, I've decided to give the keys back to Mr. Clayton and just go play my music somewhere with somebody. We'll keep everybody posted on where we'll be. I wont be giving up...so keep your eyes and ears open for Country Comfort Backyard or Country Comfort #4. But till then I'm so sorry that we're losing the coolest little h***y tonk in stark co. to the ways of the world. With tears in my eyes and pain in my heart....I'm so sorry,
