My granddad passed away a couple of weeks ago at 96 years old. Crazy to think what you would see in that time. He worked in tunnels across the US and was a veteran of the Korean War. He didn't talk much about either one as i know he lost friends in both professions.

He did tell me one crazy tale of throwing a gr***de and having it tossed back at him before ducking for cover.

He is my hero.
