Taking a brake from the super hamburger, I got inspired by a painting I have often seen on the TV show Good Eats. You can see it hanging over the fireplace mantle in the later seasons.

My version is smaller, 16X20. It came together surprisingly well and quickly, only taking me two days. I made guides and templates so I could do this or similar paintings as many times as I wish.

It feels good to have a painting-painting finished, been a while.

(The white around the rim of the hamburger is me blocking back in the edges that got painted over with the background, next time background first-first.)

I know that only me and my husband follow this new feed but...

This is the first progress pick of my "Showcase" work. The "Showcase" is how I describe the one super big artwork that I plan to have each week at the Brownsville Farmers Market. The one that gets the people going "Wow, That is big! I'll just buy this small thing thank you."

The second one is of my impromptu paint set up for the hamburger.
