EXCITING NEWS!! We’re launching a permanent food menu on Thursday & we wanted to introduce you to our chefs if you don’t already know ‘em. Hannah & Tali were the duo behind the wonderful coffee shop on Nostrand Ave in 2019. They spent a few years in Morro Bay, CA running a larger restaurant version, but now they’ve back & they’re bringing their delicious concept to King Tai! If you’re OG you’ll remember their early pop-ups out front (pizzas 🍕 off the grill, vegan dogs 🌭, among others—let us know what you remember most fondly below). Some say their story actually began here at KT 😉. So starting Thursday we’ll be serving their beautifully crafted menu they created for us every Thursday-Sunday until 10pm, plus late night snacks & new treats the rest of the week. So come by this weekend, check out the food & say “welcome back!” to chefs Tali & Hannah

The 🛰️SATELLITE OF LOVE 💕 is a riff on the Tiki classic 🪐Saturn🪐 but ours swaps out the gin for overproof Bourbon & adds a little hibiscus for color 💅
1.75 oz oolong-infused Bourbon
2 tsp passion fruit syrup
2 tsp orgeat25 oz falernum5 oz lime juice
1 tsp hibiscus tea

POP-UP ALERT ‼️ is in the house tonight 8-late prepping a grip of sandwiches for you:
🥪: porchetta, fresno pickle, arugula, salsa verde
🥪: mortadella spuma, pistachio pesto, ricotta, fresno pickle, shaved fennel
🥪: roasted potatoes tossed in green garlic sofrito, shaved artichoke, wine braised cipollini, arugula, (add ricotta if you want)
We gotta ask, would you like to see these items on the menu when Babydudes takes over the kitchen for good in a few weeks?? 😘
