Behind the Lens: A Creative Dialogue with Danny Hastings & Rasu Jilani was more than a talk — it was a transmission of creative energy.

Danny Hastings and Rasu Jilani took us on a journey through image, identity and impact — from golden era hip-hop visuals to future-forward cultural authorship and AI.

Held at Fly Private Social and surrounded by the legendary work of Hastings work from the 90s (the images are still up and prints are available to purchase). We witnessed a powerful dialogue on how Danny got his start becoming one of the go to photographers in Hip Hop and how photography shapes narrative, memory, and culture.

To all the image-makers, storytellers and culture builders who pulled up — thank you. This is what commUNITY looks like. This is how we build.
