Wednesday! That means wall record! This week we’re spinning a special soundtrack from the 1974 blaxploitation film, The Education of Sonny Carlson. The dialogue and much of the music have been sampled by numerous artists including Wu-Tang Clan, Lauryn Hill, 2 Chains, Prodigy, Common and often is referenced in other media. This is the actual audio playing, too!

We are officially 9 DAYS away from Record Store Day 2026 at Hifi Provisions, and we're feeling LUX! Stop by on April 18th to shop RSD exclusive releases plus hundreds of vinyl, CDs, cassettes, and MORE! 🎵🕺 We're even doing a 2 FOR 1 bargain table sale ALL DAY! Anything on the table will be 2 for 1 just for you.

The Hifi Lounge will be spinning records and slinging drinks for RSD! After flipping through the racks, sit back and relax. Grab a drink (or two) and enjoy all the classic record store vibes.
