We want to highlight the speaker-freakers behind the gorgeous bass-amplifying, mid-range rattling, high-end euphoria speaker stacks that have been core to making the Bo***ir parties extra special for almost a year now 🔊 & 🔊

This crew collaboration has been consistently tweaking speaker placement, subwoofer orientation, and amplifier specs to make music sound really freaking good. We’re blessed to have these folks helm the sound booth with confidence.

Get to know our special guest DJ from D.C. 👄 👄 for our Fabulips occasion on Saturday, March 14th

A mainstay in Washington DC’s underground dance parties, Keenan holds several residencies he landed around the city. Over the past few years, the Washington DC native has performed for promoters in cities across North America, Asia and Europe. Keenan, a former host on XM Satellite Radio, has also been invited to perform on Red Bull Radio, Rinse Radio, and The Lot Radio. He has played at prominent parties and festivals across the country. During the pandemic, Keenan started a mix series, Alphabet Soup, highlighting his expansive knowledge in different genres of music. Known for his technical mixing and diverse musical selection, Orr makes a lasting impression on all that have experienced his sets.

Keenan blew us away with his electric set at this past year so we are extra excited to welcome him to Boston ❤️

Bo***ir is BACK on Saturday March 14th at G.A.P.C. with our quarterly Big Bo***ir™ party. For this time around we are embracing a whimsical theme: Fabulips! Two lips for spring? Groundbreaking. How many sets of lips do you got? One lip, two lips, three lips, W***E! You’re gonna wanna moisturize AND gloss your big bazoo because we will be having a KISSING BOOTH! You read that correct! Come sneak away into a private lil booth and engage in some hot gob2gob action – photo optional ;). Dress code is: LIPS, we’re sure you’ll figure it out...

We are excited about our new partnership with the iconic nightclub: Manray every 5th Thursday of the month. Aka every other month give or take. This will be a separate event series from the usual bigger bo***ir parties. Think casual weekday ki to make your weekend CORRECT 💅!

We’ll be focusing this event on highlighting local talent whomst we’ve really been gagged by.

We teased this at our last Bo***ir and it’s true, Bo***ir is throwing a grand NYE rave. A true late night carry, 10pm onwards, with music stretching out into the early morning hours ;) Ring in the New Year with your Q***r fam n friends, with seasoned local DJs spinning all night long, including some cute bae2baes. Full lineup TBA, trust us when we say it’s a packed crew of local heavy-hitters.

We’re so thrilled to welcome Davis Galvin to Boston this month for our upcoming Bo***ir on November 22nd.

Davis Galvin is a composer, sound artist, and deejay based in Pittsburgh. Their works aim to cartograph an aural topography both personal and communal. Spanning ambient, experimental, jazz, house, techno and beyond, their compositions and sound pieces seek to open the ears and minds of their listeners. As an artist, Galvin aims to draw new connections and illuminate existing paths between community, place, and the natural world. Their compositions have been alternately described as “labyrinthine,” “ASMR-like,” and “blissful;” Whether composing dance music or ambient sound art, Galvin’s genre-bending sonic experiences serve to call attention to the act of listening as a means of nurturing their audiences.

Saturday November 22nd, we gather from 9pm - 2am under the foggy columns of the Greek American Political Club. Grab your metaphorphosisters, prune your plume, and prepare to hatch - we’re fully embracing the life cycle.

We’re hopping with excitement to welcome Pittsburgh’s prolific beacon of regeneration: Davis Galvin The sound artist, producer, DJ with the speaker-freaker tracks, and all around off-kilter music head makes their way to Boston to grace our ears with their contemplative yet dance inducing selections. They are a true artist who puts their whole self into every project, with a wide catalog of releases. From gorgeous ambient movements, experimental noises, tracky techno, heady break-beat stompers and beyond, Davis’ releases have a penchant to hypnotize and open the minds of their listeners. As an artist, Galvin aims to draw new connections and illuminate existing paths between community, place, and the natural world. Let their sounds propagate throughout your senses.

Bo***ir’s resident plant-dad Adam Unknown .unknown will tenderly prepare the Bou Bou dancefloor garden. We’ll be completely transforming the Greek American Political Club in Cambridge where there will be an abundance of space to dance and plenty of pockets to mingle.

Get to know our guest DJ for Bo***ir later this month: DJ Honey Bun, seamlessly blends her New York roots with her Texas upbringing and Black diasporic heritage. Now based in Brooklyn, Honey Bun has been celebrated as one of NY’s breakout talents. Known for her eclectic and adventurous mix of sultry selects heard across party series, Soul Connection, online for Lot Radio show, BUNTOPIA, and as a resident of Nowadays.

Honey Bun is an interdisciplinary afro-futurist artist whose work aims to reclaim the black past, affirm the black present, and demand the black future. Born in New York City, raised in Texas, and now based in Brooklyn, her selections blend the sounds of her east coast roots, southern upbringing, and the ever-evolving and interconnected sonic output of the global black diaspora.

Honey Bun is a highly sought after addition to any of NYC’s most exciting club nights, as a guest DJ alongside major touring international artists, and trusted by the underground scene to stand alone with the ever-precious all-nighter extended set. Her flexibility and fearlessness to take on any dance floor is reflective of her reputation as an “omnivorous selector” with a record collection and taste that runs wide and deep. While sensual and playful, she can carefully brew peaktime moments of heady basslines, famed drum breaks, and classic Detroit techno, all aiding in her natural inclination to buzz between universes with just a twist of a k**b.
