What we often see is the finished product of learning a new line dance. When it’s polished, practiced and perfected and even has some personal flair added. But to get there, we must allow ourself to do it ugly, messy and mess up A LOT. To not beat ourselves up for not knowing something perfectly we are just learning. This is how we learn and grow to be better dancers. We allow ourselves to be a beginner (on every new dance) and do it messy. Here I am having missed the first part of this dance instruction and learning and doing this dance for the first time. I mess up a lot! But get back in and keep going. Some dances come easily to us, others trick our minds and don’t flow as well and require more effort and concentration. This is natural and normal 😄 Just remember it’s ok to mess up in front of others, and it’s ok to be a beginner. We all start somewhere and we’re all beginners at some point. 👏🏻🥰😉
