Next Up: Mylan Johnson

“Mylan Johnson is a 12-year-old performer from Brewton, Alabama, with a growing passion for musical theatre and a heart for the stage. His love for performing began at just five years old when he made his debut as a silkworm in a local production of King Arthur. From that moment on, Mylan knew he had found something special. Over the years, he has continued to develop his talent through various productions in his community and beyond. He earned his first leading role as Herbert in Junie B. Jones Jr. at Orange Beach Performing Arts and later took the stage as a munchkin in The Wizard of Oz. At W. S. Neal Middle School, Mylan played an active role in helping bring a drama club to life after students petitioned for its creation. Through this program, he landed the memorable role of the Scarecrow in The Wizard of Oz, showcasing both his acting skills and stage presence. Most recently, he shined as Prince Eric in The Little Mermaid, leaving a lasting impression on audiences. Known for his big heart, dedication, and love for performing, Mylan continues to chase his dreams with enthusiasm and determination. He aspires to one day live and perform in New York City, pursuing a future in musical theatre while living his best life on and off the stage.”
