Uncle Cheef is proud to present a pop-up picnic at the beloved Salinger’s Orchard in Brewster, NY on Friday, July 18.
Featuring The Eric Finland (Hammond Organ) Trio with guest star vocalist Joy Brown: a powerhouse group that you need in your soul.
Doors at 6pm and one set from 7-8:30pm. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs as this is picnic vibes. Salinger’s has a tremendous food and beverage “Blue Bus” service that crushes: smoked meats, delicious sides, adult beverages, non adult beverages. You’ll most likely see a familiar face or two slinging UC wares as well.
The Salinger’s farm store is filled with homemade treats and handcrafted goods from local makers—but take note: the store closes at 6 PM, so we encourage you to come early and explore. You won’t want to miss their bakery’s legendary apple cider doughnuts (yes, we’ve taste-tested extensively—they really are the best in the Hudson Valley). It’s the kind of place where every detail is made with love, and every visit feels like coming home. Salinger’s is a fourth-generation family farm, lovingly run by Tim and Sydney Salinger, who have turned their orchard into a space that radiates warmth, care, and heart. Right on.
Curation is what we’re all about so you know this will be a one of a kind experience. Who better to lead the musical charge than Joy Brown with the Eric Finland Trio?! They’ve been mainstay artists in our concept and they represent all the best things in humanity: soulfulness, truth, love, consistency, family, empathy… all the things we stand for and will promote till our last breath.
