After more than 20 years in the historic Back Bay neighborhood, City Bar has closed after reaching end of lease.
We’re grateful to have been a long-standing presence providing warm meals, refreshing drinks, and unmatched hospitality to locals and travelers alike. We feel incredibly lucky to have had such a lasting, loyal group of guests who we served time and time again, making so many memories along the way.
Thank you to our dedicated team, who worked so hard every day to deliver incredible dining experiences time and time again.
Gift cards purchased from City Bar, City Table, or Solas Irish Pub can be used at any restaurant in The Briar Group.
We encourage you to keep up with happenings at our sister locations MJ O'Connor's, located a short walk away on Columbus Avenue, and Glass House, in Cambridge's Kendall Square.
