made sure we didn’t lose sight of BARBADOS! Terroir was our focus; the entire day was dedicated to understanding that Barbados is not only the birthplace of rum; but of sugarcane breeding as well! West Indies Central Sugarcane Breeding Station made sure we left with an EDUCATION! ❤️📚🤓

Barbados Island Tours & Trips and Billy Tempro made sure we saw the untouched beauty of Barbados 🇧🇧 and understood what makes this island so unique.

We laughed for hours and even stopped RIRI house to take pictures and drink 🍹 and DEPUTY Beer 🍻 with the locals!!

✨⛵️Somewhere between the hardhats, rum stills, shipwreck snorkeling, endless catamaran snacks, and a beachside bar takeover… we became part of the Stade’s Distillery family. 🥃

✨🥃Day Two… We became one with the rum. Hardhats in the morning, beachside dinner at night, and somewhere in the middle we became family.

The tour was COMPREHENSIVE. Sugarcane starts fermenting on the ride in from the farm — did not know that! And those “antique” stills, the amount of love it takes to keep those things running… still pumping out INCREDIBLE Bajan rum.

Then lunch, then the catamaran. Fishing, snorkeling a shipwreck, snack after snack after snack (they would not stop feeding us). Captain Danny and the Calabaza Sailing Cruises crew treated us like royalty.

Back to the distillery for dinner and a quick bar takeover. Thanks Stade’s Rum for letting zach moreno + Doc Ock👨🏻‍⚕️🐙 shake things up.

✨🥥Day one in Barbados. Started at Candle Farm— walked through where they age the rum, then indulged in snowcones made with Planteray straight from the barrel.

Then Dacres Farm, where they make Cut and Dry. Dameain was back there making us cocktails with the same coconuts they use to bring the rum proof down — so you’re basically drinking part of the process. Didn’t expect that to be the highlight of the day but here we are.

Lunch was at Dina’s rum shop. Then D&W, Ramon’s place — he hosted us and honestly could not have been nicer about it.

Beach for a bit before dinner. Karaoke at Deb’s, which happened whether we were ready for it or not. Ended back at the Planteray house for nightcaps because none of us knew how to stop.
