Capitol Bar A comfy little haven for cocktail/wine/craft beer aficionados located in Boise's West End. Believe it or not, the daiquiri is not a frozen drink.

Classic cocktails are considered "classic" because they have stood the test of time and continue to impact the cocktail culture. The Manhattan was developed in the 1860s, and the Martini shortly after that. It was created in the early 20th century and is best enjoyed served up in a martini glass. Capitol Bar, located in a tidy green patch of State Street on Boise's West End, admonishes the classic

cocktail culture. After all, there is a reason these drinks have been around for decades and centuries. Along with an astute list of interesting wines and tasty American craft beers, the classic cocktail is our focus. For the unfamiliar, the Capitol is an inviting environment to delve into cocktail history. For the familiar, you now have a State Street sanctuary for celebrating the art of the cocktail.
