Thank you to all who came out to our Hangar Dance! We had approximately 825 in attendance. A special thanks to all the volunteers who stepped up to help set-up, work, clean-up and tear down at this year’s event.

Mark your calendar now for Saturday June 3rd 2017 for next year’s dance during our Discover Aviation Days event. To the CAF, please check your dates, so we don’t have another overlap of our dances. We just found that if you are coming from the south on 35W, you will NOT be able to go as far as County Road 10. The state is now closing the freeway at I-694 Friday night. So dance attendees will need to go west on I-694, North on HW-65, East on State HW-10 to 85th & Airport road.

Hangar Dance Guests - Thank you for coming out to our annual event these past 15 years. As it stands, we are currently "On The Fence" about re-creating this year’s Hangar Dance. In addition to the great expense, it takes a great deal of manpower and effort, it's basically two weeks of work, for four hours of fun. Many volunteer hours are needed to set-up, clean up, and tear-down the event space. Without some type of guarantee that we will have the help needed to cover all of these areas, we simply will not be able to logistically create the dance this year.

We will need to make a decision by Monday February 1st in order to give the band enough time for booking, “IF” we chose to host this year’s Hangar Dance. We are reaching out to the public for volunteer help. See details and sign-up pages below.
