I’ve been bartending for over 20 years, all over the country. These days I’m dad to 5-year-old, Flip, and my wife Meg who used to be here all the time before we had him… now she’s got a much harder job as Mom to Flip

Also, I’m pretty sure bars only start posting videos of owners introducing themselves because somewhere along the line we all read that it’s “good for engagement” once things get a little slow. So here we are.

I just wanted to say thanks. Seriously. The people who have found us, supported us, told their friends… it means more than you probably realize.

We hit October hard every year, but we’re not just a Halloween bar. Summers can be tough, and we could really use y’all right now.

I’ve always tried to keep our prices as fair as possible, even while everything keeps going up. Rent doesn’t exactly cut us any breaks.

If you’ve got a work group, happy hour crew, whatever… we’d love to have you in early evenings, for a nightcap and anything in between.

We keep seeing things recently about affordable cocktails like it’s a new idea. That's always been our goal.

We’ve always tried to keep things simple at Pilcrow with good cocktails, people behind the bar who aren't taking themselves too seriously, and prices that don't make you question going out.

We’re not cutting corners and we don't skimp. We just try to keep it reasonable, even when rent sucks and costs creep up because we aren't the only ones facing those challenges. You are too.

Come by this week and let them make you a drink. They work hard to keep Pilcrow the welcoming, unpretentious place that it is. Small places like this survive because people choose to spend their nights here, and we never take that for granted

We’ve always tried to keep our prices as low as we reasonably can.

We’ve noticed what you probably have too — dinner prices have increased, and that post-dinner drink might not be in the cards.

So for the month of January, we’re going even lower on some of our cocktails — including a few crowd favorites and some new additions.

At least six menu cocktails will be under $10 all month long.

Maybe now that after-dinner drink is back on the table after all.
