Step back in time at The Bookstore Speakeasy: a 1920's style speakeasy located in Bethlehem, PA. The Bookstore offers prohibition-era cocktails and punch-bowls with hand-carved ice and freshly-squeezed juices, an extensive craft beer selection, a thoughtful wine list, and beautifully crafted American cuisine ranging from small plates to complete dinners. Live 20's and 30's jazz music is performed on several nights throughout the week in our intimate candle and oil lamp lit room. The gorgeous copper bar is the center of the action where our bartenders perform their craft every night.

In just 10 days, The Bookstore will be transforming our original speakeasy into an elaborate Masquerade Ball for New Year’s Eve. One of our illustrious judges for the Mischief night fashion show, Kate Hughes is a photographer, writer, actor, comedian, and radio personality. Originally from Philadelphia, Kate has been a fixture in the Lehigh Valley ever since graduating from Cedar Crest College. As the Director of Fig Magazine, Kate is thrilled that she gets to celebrate and work alongside small business owners, creatives, and leaders. No stranger to the stage and performing to sold out audiences in her one woman show - Most Flammable, this girl knows a thing or two about a great costume - she cannot wait to see all that Mischief Night at The Bookstore Speakeasy has in store!
