Last night was Taylor’s last night. And last month we said goodbye to Kayla, our longest working employee. She was in before we opened our doors. And goodbye to Frank and Willie (except he’s still here sometimes). So this terribly edited reel goes out to them, but it can’t come close to summing up my feelings for how much these guys and our entire staff mean to us. Kayla especially holds all the memories of our opening, and covid shut downs and every dance party. But who will start the dance party if not Taylor? And who will keep the party going if not for Frank’s outfit changes and Willie’s rollies that “don’t count”?
So I just want to say thank you to these special people, and to all of you for the the good times. Because they are really good. Despite the troubles of the world, this community has been a slice of magic.
But fear not! The torch has been passed to some very special folks joining our team, so the good times can roll on!
And finally, I feel just terrible about not saying a massive thank you to the community for voting us best bar () and second best bar () this year in . It’s been a doozy which is why it’s so dang hard to get on here and post. But goddamnit, THANK YOU!
Cheers to all of you, and to the passing of time with good friends, and to endings and beginnings being a bittersweet constant. We are grateful❤️
