Skatetown skaters; We are looking for any PHOTOS of Skatetown, inside the rink or outside, ANYTHING will do. The current tenants have reached out to Bill Almsteier's mom (Y'all remember the Almsteiers ran the rink for years) for photos for a framed homage to our rink that used to be there. Anybody remember those nights in the middle of winter that the heat was out in the rink? So they put these huge propane heaters in a couple corners on the skating floor? Huge, like 5 or 6 feet tall and they sounded like jet engines.

It was COLD everywhere in the rink except inside of about 10 feet of those heaters. But we still skated didn't we? Ohhh yeah.
