Bake’s Place Bar & Bistro is a restaurant, bar & private event space in downtown Bellevue that exudes atmosphere and elegance. Bake's is also home to the largest, most unique patio on the east side. We feature outdoor covered & heated areas as well as being very dog friendly. During these challenging times, your health and safety are our top priority. We strictly adhere to all guidelines set forth by the governor. In addition, all tables inside and out are properly socially distanced, mask wearing is mandatory, tables and chairs are fully sanitized before and after each use . We feature a chef driven seasonal menu that is available for takeout, a well curated wine and spirits list that includes over 200 whiskies and an ever evolving craft cocktail to go program. Inside the restaurant, our high vaulted ceilings give way to a spacious, multi-level dining room making it one of the most ideal spots for private events in Bellevue. So come spend some time with us and let our enthusiastic, knowledgeable and friendly staff guide you through a one of a kind experience. Joel Astley : Blues, Swing, Funk & Jazz - Since forming his first band in 2014, Joel Astley has established himself as a powerhouse frontman, harmonica player, singer and songwriter, and currently leads an award winning four-piece band. They tour regularly and perform locally, and all of them appear on numerous recordings. He and this all star lineup have amassed dozens of awards, nominations and other accolades, most recently sweeping the 2025 Washington Blues Society Awards. Astley made a splash on the International Blues Music scene with his 2023 debut album, Seattle To Greaseland, which came in at Number 7 on the Blues Billboard Top Ten and received critical acclaim worldwide, and has helped to set Astley on a meteoric rise. He has been a Featured Artist with Lee Oskar Harmonicas since 2023, and is currently working on songs for his next album. Joel Astley has been recognized with 26 "Best of the Blues" awards from the Washington Blues Society in just 7 years, he received the Silver Medal Award from the Global Music Awards in 2023, an Honorable Mention in the 2024 International Songwriting Competition for "Secondhand Kid", and multiple nominations from Music organizations including the Blues Blast Music Awards, the Independent Blues Awards, the Cascade Blues Society, and the Josie AwardsThere is a $30 per person music charge added to your bill at the end of the evening.
