Descending upon Akron on May 16th, 2026 from 12-5pm, Matt Booth, of Room 101 fame will be here to rock the Summit Cigar Co. summer in-store kickoff event.

We have had a few wild adventures with our buddy Boofy, but if you have never met the man in person this is one event you do not want to miss.

Mr. Booth has graciously found one final remaining Tiffany Blue Anniversary Humidor we will be raffling off alongside a veritable plethora of unobtanium ci**rs like Uncle Lees and JT10 Limited Edition to accompany qualifying purchases.

We have also put together a limited edition T-shirt (see photo) for purchase at the event and we will be providing a free catered lunch in the afternoon for those who swing through to smoke and hang with the Room 101 crew.

Come join the Summit Cigar Co. Team for our annual cigar dinner at Casa La Luna (formally Luca Italian Cusine) on August 21st, for the world debut of the Stoic Ci**rs Equanimity. We will be accompanied by Vance Taylor, brand owner/blender, for a wonderful evening of food, ci**rs and friends.

Converse with Vance and the crew during a cocktail hour between 6-7pm and prepare for a superb four course meal paired with (8) ci**rs from the Stoic portfolio .

Price for the dinner/ci**rs is $165.

Join the Summit Cigar Co. Crew and the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad (CVSR) on their newly renovated “Cigar Car” for our first train trip cigar smoker through the Cuyahoga National Park on 6/28/25. Included in the ticket price is an approximately 2.5-3 hour train excursion, 2 super premium ci**rs from Espinosa Cigar Company and their #1 rep. Tyler Jones, a beautifully curated box lunch by our friends at Cousa Mamas, Espinosa Ci**rs raffle prizes and the option of a cash bar hosted by the CVSR.

There will be two available time slots to smoke with us on the train; a 9:50am departure (arrive on site by 9:30am) and a 1:50pm departure time (arrive on site by 1:30pm). Seating is limited, so if you wish to join please stop in or call the shop with any questions, to pay, and to lock in your preference of departure time.

Foundation Cigar Event w/ Mike Perales
Saturday, September 28th - 12pm-6pm

The Summit Cigar Company will be hosting an in store Foundation cigar event featuring the new Foundation Wise Man Corojo. We will have cigar specials/deals on all Foundation brands, free catered food by City BBQ, and some very special limited edition raffle prizes featuring off the menu Foundation swag/smokes. With the new ventilation installed throughout the shop, it is shaping up to be a fantastic afternoon of cigar smoking and friendly faces.

As many have noticed, Havana House West has been transformed into Summit Cigar Company (more at the bottom), but most importantly Dan Welsh a.k.a. Surrogates Dan and Mike Perales of Impact Force will be in town on Saturday, July 27th at 1:00pm for an epic store event with Tatuaje, L’Atelier, and Surrogates ci**rs.

We will have the opportunity to feature some NEW Limited Edition Tatuaje/Latelier and Core line boxes that we are excited to explore with the crew. Along with showcasing these new, highly anticipated ci**rs, we will be offering “event only” deals/free goods for all three brands, limited edition Tatuaje boxes that have been held back for just such an occasion, free catering from City BBQ and more.

After running the store in Bath for 11.5 years, Matt Waris and good friend Bob "Bam Bam" Jursich have acquired the Akron Havana House location and will be taking over as Summit Cigar Company. We aim to provide an ample selection of the best brands our industry has to offer and upgraded amenities for everyone who decides to stop by and have a smoke. Stolen Throne Debut Event

To celebrate the 5th anniversary of the company and the inaugural Crook of the Crown line of ci**rs, Lee Marsh, owner and blender of Stolen Throne ci**rs, will be in attendance to debut a truly “one and done” limited edition variant to the Crook of the Crown line. If you are a fan of the Stolen Thrones or boutique Nicaraguan to***cos this is an event you will not want to miss. Come meet Lee and join us for a special day of ci**rs as we kick off our 2024 event season!
