Badu Lounge is a newly established cultural arts lounge in Ayden, North Carolina, dedicated to enriching the Eastern NC community with a diverse range of artistic experiences and a sophisticated nightlife atmosphere. Founded by Lester Howard and Lakiezia Moore, two passionate individuals with over 15 years of collective experience in the arts and nightlife industries, Badu Lounge is born from a vision to fulfill the community's desire for a mature and engaging space. Prepare to be captivated by our dynamic calendar of events, featuring live music of various genres, including soulful jazz and neo-soul, alongside spoken word performances, karaoke nights, hilarious comedy shows, and engaging game nights. It’s been a minute since I’ve been out on the scene, but things have been moving behind the scenes!

My business partner and I have been making changes at Badu Lounge, and I want to reconnect with everybody and share what we’ve been working on.

Join me tonight at 8 PM as we talk about what’s happening this Sunday, our new Sunday Kickback schedule, the return of Lyrical Elevation Soul Sessions every second Saturday, and opportunities to reserve Badu Lounge for your own private events.
