Produced by Frenchie Smith (The Toadies, Jet), "Tacky & Mediocre" takes aim at our tweeting, Instagram-influencing, Tiger King obsessed culture. The lyrics are tongue and cheek while the groove is heavy and true. The song also includes a raging appendage at the end of Part 1, with a Part 2 that comes out of nowhere and brings home the bacon.

Miss our live music? We do too. This week we'd like to feature some of our favorite artists of past and present. Today is Phaseur, and here's what they have been up to:

We are about to release our first albums. That's right, Albums. We have 4 complete unreleased albums that we are going to these this summer.

During this pandemic Mind Pilot aka. TUSK and Angus aka. KONG have been really busy up on the planet NEXION 6912-27. We freed all 99 of the Galaxy wizards who were being held captive by the dark leader Dharjion (pronounced Dārr-Shawn).

Now we are totally swamped with work searching for the Golden Crystals that are trapped inside The Perfect Rose. We've had little success of finding them but our bass player PETE SCHNAPPS gave us a fantastic lead as to it's location yesterday. They will we exploring that lead starting on Monday.

As for ZIPP CODE (buttons player) and KANE SHEEKARR (percussion), they have both been hiding on the Hollow Earth. They have been keeping busy with Transcendental Meditation. They let both TUSK, KONG and PETE know about the secret entrance.

They will all be coming together next week for a special ritual to rid the earth of fear, sadness, lies and darkness.

We're recording new original songs remotely right now, so we can hopefully release our debut EP soon! It'll feature our song "In The Roots" (video attached above), and that live performance from Stay Gold too. This has definitely been a tough time for musicians financially, but we're trying to stay positive and use this time to record and release some long-overdue songs. We miss playing music for y'all and hope everyone is staying safe!

Miss our live music? We do too. This week we'd like to feature some of our favorite artists of past and present. Today is Name Sayers, and here's what they have been up to:

This has thrown everyone in our camp for a loop, but so far everybody's healthy. We had planned to do at least one cool destination show as a band this summer, but it looks like that's getting pushed down the line. For now we'll keep making recordings and scheming dope shows for the future.

For the first few weeks I took it easy just to wrap my head around everything that was happening.As more time passed, I fell into a nice little routine cooking, exercising, and writing/working on music. Spent about a month recording/mixing/mastering “The World Is Closed” and the video came together within about a week.I think you’ll enjoy the Stay Gold shots, I definitely miss hanging and playing there!It’ll come back around though, I know it will.
