Lit Lounge’s “LAST CALL”
1/13/2023 and Sat 1/14/23
2013-2023
It’s with a heavy heart I have to let everyone know this weekend will be Lit Lounge’s final weekend in business.
We have been on a month to month lease since the end of the pandemic.
Our landlords have been approached by a big company out of Dallas and they offered to sign a long term lease and pay double the rent we are paying 🙁
It’s been a wild decade for us with many twists and turns, but our time has come to an end. We would like to thank each and every person who played a part in our story, as we will hang on to the memories created at Lit Lounge for a lifetime. Please join us this Friday and Saturday night (1/13)(1/14) as we say our goodbyes with one final night of debauchery!
We have a LOT of booze that we need to get rid of, so come help us do so…
Slap on your drinkin’ hats and come on down to 215 E 6th St this Friday and Saturday from 8pm-2am to help us write the final paragraph of our 10year chapter in The Book Of 6th St. Let’s go out with a bang.
I hope everyone will come out and send the club off with a proper goodbye.
We have been open for the past 10 years and it’s been a hell of a ride and I want to thank each and every employee, customer and friend of Lit Lounge. We never would have made it this far with out all the amazing help and support of Austin and the local service industry workers’ Constant help And support. I can’t say how amazing the last 10 years have been. I will be forever grateful and thankful for the opportunity to make my dreams come true. I started way back in 2003 as a door guy, then barback, bartender, manager and finally after 10 years working the trenches Duece and I finally opened our own spot. We had a good 10 years in business for ourselves.
In the near future I’ll be working on getting The Bend opened up on Hudson Bend and hope to see y’all there too. We are currently hiring so if anyone is interested in working at an awesome neighborhood restaurant/bar, please contact me. So it’s not good bye but see ya later.
Thank you forever from the bottom of my heart. From Duece king and myself
