A little more than a year ago, we added something new to the pages of our menu that has become so well-received and quite a conversation starter. The “May We Suggest” page is a list of staff recommendations for other spots across Austin to drink (and eat) well. It’s been a pleasant surprise how much you all love this list and talk to us about it!

It includes an evergreen directory of every terrific venue that you can visit within walking distance while you’re hanging out on North Loop like Tigress, Birrieria Mama Rosa and Epoch Coffee PLUS a rotating list of spots a little further out across the city: our favorite cocktail bars, tacos, date nights with our own partners, and coffee shops to kick us into gear. A few highlights from the current list:

🍸 Small Victory - the best martini in town that isn’t ours

🥃 The Treasurry at Shangri-La: an intimate & exceptional little cocktail haunt on East 6th helmed by one of Austin’s finest O.G. bar personalities (we’re looking at you Antonio Matta)

🌮 Paprika 🍉🍉 - is there a better taco in Austin right now?! Life-affirming, truly.

🍻🎹 Donn's Depot - an icon. THE icon. Cold b**r, music and a two-step (or three). Required if it is your first visit to Austin.

Come see us tonight, ask about the list and tell us what’s missing. Where do we need to visit on our next night off?!

We get it. That espresso martini habit is hard to break, even in hot weather. Fortunately, bartender Quin Hammes worked up a banger of a seasonal update that takes the drink into decidedly brighter territory.

Inspired by Mexico’s ‘tianguis’ (open-air street markets), the ‘Night Market’ is a sultry little tipple featuring mezcal, aged demerara rum espresso, corn liqueur and a touch of tamarind for an unexpected, fruity edge.

Come get lost in flavor and leave with a second wind to take you through the rest of the week. ☕️🌽🍬

NIGHT MARKET | Amaras Verde Mezcal, El Dorado 12 Year Rum, Nixta Heirloom Corn Liqueur, Rich Espresso, Tamarind Cordial

DrinkWell is proud to join restaurants across the city for the next 2 weeks in supporting the Central Texas Food Bank with Austin Restaurant Weeks .

We may not be a ‘restaurant’ in the traditional sense, but you know our kitchen always comes correct and we never pass up the opportunity to pour back into our community.

What’s cooking? Coffee-rubbed pork loin with sweet potato puree, roasted cauliflower and hazelnut butter + your choice of a Tito's Handmade Vodka Gimlet or House Martini, all for just $30. DrinkWell is donating $5 from every special sold back to the CTFB.

Come discover what likes SKIN DEEP 👀

Bartender Olly L. understood the assignment with this one. This is a summer Negroni that balances the familiar with the unusual.

Acid-adjusted Concord grape juice and a blend of two unique aperitifs connects the dots between Gin’s crisp botanicals and Cognac’s lush warmth. A quick-pickled grape snack attack is the perfect bite when the last sip is gone.

(P.S. Give a quick swipe and see why creating exquisite cocktails is only a small part of Olly’s talent are a DrinkWell bartender.)
