Every Monday night for the past 8 years Maggie Mae's Blue Monday has seen seven Grammy Award winners perform on it's stage and has provided a first class stage for some of the best Austin Blues players to strut their stuff to the delight of an audience of locals and tourist from all over the world. E'S BLUE MONDAY is an invite only Jam but we have had many surprise performances from musicians passing through town. We do accept players with some serious references. Maggie Mae's Blue Monday is an excellent place for musicians new to Austin to observe exactly what the Austin Blues scene is all about. The house band "MICHAEL MILLIGAN and the TEXIANA BLUEZ", Led by lead singer and Harp player and jam organizer Michael Milligan is a seasoned Austin band , together for over 9 years sets the perfect atmosphere for the night. It is also the perfect time for those who don't really care for the weekend 6th Street scene to enjoy 6th Street at a more modified pace. What are you doing this Monday night......Come on down......
