Our Elk members outdid themselves last night May29,2026) by hosting an event filled night for our friends in the community that receive supports. There was a little bit of everything for our friends to do. We had a DJ Alex Drake who played music for those that wanted to dance, a movie for a more casual time and card games that had some excitement to them! The snack stand was open for drinks and snacks! Fun was had by all!

Come enjoy an evening benefiting American Cancer June 4th. The Elk’s Lodge will sponsor the Atlantic Cancer Society with their fundraiser for relay for life. Thursday, June 4 the Atlantic Cancer Society will help with bingo at the Elk’s Lodge and all proceeds. Well then go to the relay for life. Please come by and play bingo on Thursday, June 4 and support this event. It will be fun and maybe win some money. This is open to the public.

Oh my goodness what an enriching and joyful morning spending time with these delightful kids from Head Start! We were busy reading stories, a rainbow craft and making a t-shirt! Being an Elk and doing something with our youth is so rewarding!

A great night at Elks 445. Kentucky Derby, potluck and Kentucky Derby hat contest. It was a grand time.

What a fun day at the Elk’s lodge giving back to the community. We had 40 to 48 Elk friends at the Elk’s lodge this morning, making May baskets, to take to the local nursing homes. We made a little over 250 May baskets, and the Elks friends delivered them to two nursing homes here in Atlantic and then Anita and Avoca. Karleen and I the also made May baskets and I delivered to our fellow Elks living in nursing home or assisted. It was such a wonderful afternoon visiting with our members.
