At 54, I wasn’t sure if I was joining a community or just crashing a party. However, over the past several months, I’ve immersed myself in the high-energy subculture of TikTok "battles" and the diverse personalities that drive them.
Despite our differences in age, the creators I met offered a welcoming hand, encouraging me to cast aside hesitation and embrace this modern frontier. It has been a masterclass in connection, proving that curiosity has no expiration date. Through a combination of dedicated time and significant investment, my following jumped from 200 to 1,250 in just two months, providing a massive audience for my deepest passions.
