Duelly Noted Dueling Pianos: We are beyond excited for our favorite ladies-on-the-keys to usher us into the fall music season! Arrive ready to sing & armed with your best requests.🎹

•September 10th•
Monique Smaz: Our dear friend from St. Paul, now based in Nashville, is making the trek back to Margie’s! Monique brings a voice that can knock you back a step & songwriting that pulls you in close - don’t miss her moment back in Minne.🎸

•September 17th•
Kevin James & The Weary: Our 2026 artist residency continues, as Kevin, Max & Tony bring timeless songs & new favorites to the Margie’s stage. They join us every six weeks, but it’s a brand new experience every time!🎻

•September 24th•
Maiden Dixie Duo: Kaytee & Wes bring the heart & soul of Maiden Dixie back to the intimate Margie’s stage this fall! Make a night out of soaking in this duo’s rich harmonies, heartfelt storytelling, and acoustic takes on favorite tunes… with ears open for some originals.🎙️

Live music starts at 7pm every Thursday. Reservations for music tables are FREE, and are available at Resy.com; if you’re not picky about your proximity to the stage, just walk in any time & we’ll find you a place to hang out & listen.🪑

Margie’s/MN State Fair Mash-Up starts today! No big slides or all-you-can-drink milk, but we did add a few cocktails & a dirty soda to the party this year.😎

THE FOODS: Cheese Curds, Buffalo Cheese Curd Tacos, Falafel Bites, Dill Pickle Pizza & Deep Fried Oreos

THE DRINKS: Pickle-on-a-Stick Margarita, Strawberry Shortcake Martini, Mini Donut (in a Cocktail) & a Strawberry Dirty Soda (NA)

State Fair features are available W/Th/Fri at 4pm & Sat/Sun at 3pm through Saturday, September 5th; Margie’s will be closed Sunday, September 6th for a team Labor Day break. See y’all soon!🎡

In early August 2021, our musician friends were setting up equipment & playing their sets on a giant rug in the back of the restaurant each Thursday night.😬

A beautiful stage took the place of the old rug (thank you Justin Ahlstrom 💚) and we’re still here telling the tale… and singing the songs… every Thursday night!🎶

Grandma Margie never let us leave her home empty handed, and with this inspiration, we end every Margie’s visit with a cute little homemade chocolate chip cookie. Our family & restaurant team care deeply about hospitality and community building, and we hope our cookie send-off serves as an outward symbol of our values.💚

•Margie’s Gold Ale: this collaboration with Pryes Brewing Company is crisp & malty, but light enough to maintain a smooth finish. Pairs easily with anything on our menu! 🍽️

•Margie’s American IPA: a slightly grainy & dry IPA, with tropical notes on the finish, made in collaboration with the Spiral Brewery crew. *The bitterness is firm on this one, but not scary, for anyone generally cautious with an IPA! 💚

Grab a spot at the bar & check out these Margie’s delights, a local craft beer, or even a Coors Light, if that’s more your speed.😉 Cheers, friends!🍻

Christopher David Hanson: Our dear friend from way, way up north is making the trek back to Margie’s! His solo acoustic set moves through original story songs, blues-tinged folk, and heartfelt covers with ease… and we might even get a peek at Chris’ sweet little sidekick.🐾

•August 20th•
JunkFM Duo: Mo & Grant return to Margie’s, bringing the full band energy to their acoustic set! Expect unexpected genre jumps, mashups that shouldn’t work but absolutely do, and a pace that keeps things moving all night.🧑‍🎤

•August 27th•
ReedBox: The wildly talented Reed Grimm & Heatbox come together to round out the summer on the Margie’s stage as… drumroll?!? ReedBox. Prepare for a night built on funk, quick wit, and the kind of chemistry that keeps a room laughing, and maybe even singing along!🕺

Elote August is upon us!😎

Starting Saturday, August 1st, at Margie’s AND Grackle, we’re filling our weekends with Chef Diego’s *best* corn-forward eats:

•Agave Jalapeño Elotes (traditional, to-die-for)
•Street Corn/Elote Dip (a little different spin at each location, served with chips)
•Elote Tots (a pile to satisfy a ravenous crew)
•Elote Pizza (Margie’s fans: you know the one! Grackle gang: GF crust only… but we want you to experience this goodness, too.)
⏰ Elote specials are available Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays after 3pm at Grackle & after 4pm at Margie’s.

As true Minnesotans do… let’s savor the season. See y’all soon!😋🌽
