Anchorage Social Dance Club We are a group who get together every Saturday night to dance, eat, drink and socialize. We were formerly known as The 35+ Club. We are here to have fun.

549 West International Airport Rd Unit B8 Anybody 21+ who likes to dance, or in interested in dancing is welcome to join us. Free dance lessons are offered at 7PM. Each month a different style of dance is taught. Styles include East Coast Swing, Cha Cha, West Coast Swing, Waltz, Country 2-step, Nightclub 2-step, Hustle, and more. Every dance we play a couple of songs perfect for line dancing. If you are new to dance, no worries, all are welcome. Music is provided by a variety of bands or DJs. Music begins at 8 and lasts until about 11:00PM. Our club is kept running by the generous donation of time and skills from our member volunteers. Board meetings are normally held on the second Saturday of the month at 6:00 PM at 549 West International Airport Road, Anchorage, Alaska. Board of Directors:

A few fun facts about Lindy Hop:

✨ It was born in Harlem in the late 1920s/early 1930s
🎶 It grew alongside jazz and swing music
🪩 It’s known for its playful energy, improvisation and lots of room for personality
👯‍♀️ You don’t need a partner — come solo and jump in!
😎 You definitely don’t need to be an expert. Lindy Hop is supposed to be FUN

$5 per person minimum donation
No experience or partner necessary
