Located in the heart of Anchorage's midtown on the corner of Northern Lights Boulevard and Fairbanks Street, "The Lounge" has brought so many "happy people" together over the years.. This historic landmark was originally made famous in the mid-1960's for its unique spinning bar, beautiful sky-line views of the both sunrise as well as sunsets. Majestic mountain views, it's great location and colorfully diverse clientele are some of the unique characteristics which made it the talk of the town. Over the years, the Office Lounge has been passed through many different owners and employees alike. Eventually, the bar stopped spinning and as with anything old, things got run down, dated and neglected. But the people never stopped coming and The Office Lounge never lost it's "happy people" spirit.. In in 2013, The Office lounge was purchased and is now known as The Alaskan Office Lounge. Completely remodeled and under new management, the club now features state-of-the art integrated sound, laser, video and intelligent LED systems. Our rich decor is enhanced with fully renovated and expanded dance flooring, chic new restrooms and designer lighting to capture the perfect ambiance for any event or occasion.
