Many of you probably remember Dustin as a bartender at Sporty's. We lost a GOOD one. 😭

Dustin S. Neff, 36, of Union, passed away Sunday, January 10, 2021 in Washington, Missouri. On June 10, 1984 Dustin was born in St. Charles, Missouri to his mother, Elisabeth Neff. Dustin graduated from Fox High School in 2002 and would move on to graduate from Mizzou with three Bachelor

Contrary to popular belief. Sportsmens est. 1949 is the longest running bar in Ames. Here is an old photo from the Ames phonebook. Next month Ames historical society will have a display showing we are the longest running bar. Tip Top was a close 2nd opening it's doors in 1950.
