We mourn the passing of Pat Clark https://obituaries.bangordailynews.com/obituary/patricia-clark-1093351773 For many years Pat brought joy to the lives of family, friends and the community of dancers who gathered weekly at Happy Acres Hall. Those dances and many other special events are remembered with great appreciation. May Pat's spirit rest in peace and thrive through her legacy in this community. Thank you, Pat.

Just in case this passed you by or slipped your mind ... it will be a special evening tomorrow (Sat. Dec. 8) at Happy Acres Hall. We welcome you and The Allison Ames Band for our final event of the year. As always it's BYO everything: beverage, food and party, without you it won't be happening! 21+, minors admitted with parents or guardians, band plays 8-11. Be safe always. See you at the Hall!

Are you still recovering from the freezing November we just made it through? Then plan to get yourselves warmed up this Saturday (Dec. 8) with the The Allison Ames Band at Happy Acres Hall. There won't be a New Year's dance at Happy Acres this year, so consider this to be a Holiday, New Year and end-of-season dance all wrapped up into one. The usual rules apply. See you at the Hall. You've heard the rumor ... now you know it's true. Historic Happy Acres Hall is for sale with hopes that a very particular person, family or group will carry on the tradition. It's been a fun day playing in the snow or shoveling and plowing, depending on your age and inclinations. But tomorrow is a new day, and we will be graced by the appearance of The Stillwaters Band at Happy Acres Hall. Saturday, Nov. 17, the 'usual rules apply' - see you at the Hall! Band plays 8-11, BYOB, $10, 21 and older unless accompanied by parents or guardians.

There's still a bit of blue in the sky and green on the ground ... and maybe some black ice in the driveway - be careful! But open the door and step on out this Saturday evening (Nov. 17) to enjoy The Stillwaters Band at Happy Acres Hall. Circle, mark, or just forget about your calendar till Saturday rolls around, and then roll on over to the Hall!

Just in case you missed the news - it's The Mainely Country Band tonight (Oct. 27) at Happy Acres Hall. It will be a 'dark and stormy night' (unfortunately) so Halloween costumes are welcome but not required. We plan a costume dance during break with prizes. If you just can't bear missing 'the game' we'll have a listening booth set up at the back of the Hall. See you tonight at the Hall!
