Amazing Customers of The Hunter,

Sorry that we have taken so long to post this notice to notify you that we are sadly closing The Hunter Public House at this location as of Dec 31st, 2020.
We have been open for business a mere 20 months and in that time we have grown to love this community here in Alameda, we have had some great nights, community events, hosted many of your celebrations and worked with the community to raise money for your schools, local Boys and Girls Club, West End Arts Association, WABA & City of Alameda events. And we plan to continue to do that on the Island just not here!!

We had high hopes for our business and hoped to be here for a long time, we love our neighbors and will be sad to move on.

Just to help you understand The Hunter Public House has paid full rent during the pandemic, but sadly due to a complicated and controlling new lease presented to us by the landlord which would have taken certain business decisions out of our hands we decided to walk away from our investment rather than stay. This decision did not come easy.

We are actively looking for a new location in Alameda we look forward to serving you again soon.

The Hunter Cocktail Boxes

The Hunter community,

We have been serving you all wonderful cocktails and craft beers on our Park-let and sadly now we have even shorter hours so we get to see you less. Our new hours are everyday 3-9pm.

That doesn't mean that you can't enjoy our cocktails at home this holiday season, pick up our Cocktail Boxes for corporate events or family and friends.

Also our hard working Bartenders are in full service mode to get these boxes to you so tip well as they need it to get them through the holidays.
