Dance in Turkey is an event based cultural organization. The main aim is teaching and spreading Turkish folk dance styles to foreign people who want to learn. Every year we have dance classes with tens of participants and we have chance to show them the riches of Anatolian folk dances. During our workshops, we teach main dance figures for Zeibek, Roman (Turkish Gipsy), North and East Anatolia Fokl
oristic Dance styles. Each event period is just 5 or 7 days. After the 5 or 7 days we organize an stage performance and each participants can show their talents. According to event scope we also give you the rhythm and percussion lessons by our expert musicians. Each member in our staff are the experts in their fields. The most of them have successfully completed their studies at the Conservatory of Istanbul Technical University and İzmir Ege University. All teachers have been dancing from their childhood and they have been teaching for almost 20 years. We live in İstanbul/Turkey but each year we organize our events in different cities of Turkey. If you want, we can visit you in your conutry and teach you Turkish dances in your place. When you join our workshops you will learn the Turkish dances and also you will visit and travel different cities of Turkey.
