Thailand Tango Milonguero would like to welcome True Milonguero and Dj Raymond Barbosa. He will be teaching pre milonga class on Mar 29 @ 6-7pm and Dj for the night.
Ray Barbosa (“Chocolate”) has danced Argentine Tango for almost 25 years. He was the organizer of the Chicago Mini Tango Festival for 15 years. It was a popular milonguero festival. He brought many milonguero teachers from Buenos Aires to the Festival. He also organized for several years in Chicago: En Tu Abrazo –Encuentro Milonguero,.
Ray has been Djing for over 15 years, He has Djed in Buenos Aires, Europe (Bari, Lecce, Milan, Milazzo, Naples, Rome, and Italy); Stockholm, Sweden; Canada (Calgary); the United States (Chicago; Los Angeles, California; Charlotte and Durham, North Carolina; Cincinnati, Cleveland, and Columbus, Ohio; Iowa; Seattle; and New York). Ray has also Djed at the Midwest Tango Festival, Puerto Rico Tango Festival, Chicago Mini Tango Festival, Augusta Tango Marathon, and at the Nippon Milonguero Festival, Osaka, Japan. He is also schedule to DJ this year in Milazzo and Procida, Italy; outside of his normal djing in Chicago.
