Born in snowy Sapporo, Japan, Takamichi has been DJing since the early 2000s, shaping a sound rooted in house, disco, and soulful rhythm. Now based in Bangkok, he’s a resident at Tropic City and co-founder of Avo-Garde Records, known for his warm, groove-led sets that move effortlessly from funk and Afrobeat to New York and Chicago house.

BEAMCUBE invites DJ Steaw — Friday, November 14 ⚡️

DJ Steaw, the French DJ and producer behind Rutilance Recordings, House Puff Records, and Steaward, brings his deep, soulful house sound to BEAMCUBE. Known for his signature blend of jazz-inspired improvisation, hip-hop rhythm, and driving basslines, Steaw has spent over 15 years shaping the international scene: from Tresor in Berlin and Fabric in London to Shelter in Amsterdam. His releases continue to define the modern French house sound, blending groove, warmth, and timeless energy.

Joined by Skinny Mark b2b Charles Davies and Jazzie C. Skinny Mark, a pioneer of Koh Tao’s electronic scene and founder of Back 2 The Groove Festival, joins forces with Charles Davies for a night of eclectic rhythm and movement. Jazzie C, known as Le Godfather, celebrates over four decades behind the decks with his signature groovy, jazzy, and trippy house selections: a Bangkok mainstay seen at Wonderfruit.

Local Night: BEAMCUBE invites Sweed and Gaspray — Friday, October 24 🧩

Sweed is a Bangkok-based DJ, musician, and composer known for experimental sets that fuse heavy drums, modular synths, and trippy textures. As the sound engineer and resident DJ at BEAM, his performances push the boundaries of rhythm and atmosphere, with appearances at Wonderfruit, Pan Buriram, and Tempology Festival.

Gaspray, originally from Belgium and based in Thailand since 2019, draws from 90s tech house, rave, and progressive roots. With a sound that spans minimal and techno, his sets balance precision and pulse. He’s also the founder of Unaharn Festival and Café Gina, shaping Thailand’s growing electronic scene.

BEAMCUBE invites DVDE — Friday, October 31 ⚡️

Hailing from Paris and now based in Lisbon, DVDE is a DJ and producer shaping a distinctive sound where house, acid, minimal, electro, and funk-driven grooves collide. As founder of House of Underground and Operation Madness, and resident on Rinse France and at Badaboum, his sets and productions channel deep roots in Detroit and Chicago house.

His debut EP Ultralucid Paris caught global attention, played by DJs like Masda, Binh, and Vladimir Ivkovic, followed by collaborations with San Proper, DMX Krew, and Robert Owens. Known for his energetic and immersive live sets, DVDE brings hardware, acid, and punchy basslines together in a performance built for the floor.

Joined by Krit Su, Kornnlee, and Seelie: key figures in Bangkok’s underground. Krit Su blends jazz, funk, and soulful house with minimal and progressive influences, Kornnlee delivers disco and organic house with feel-good emotion, and Seelie brings two decades of deep, global dancefloor experience from the UK to Asia.
